Hi! I'm Dan. Daniel Smars when I'm in trouble and Daniel Paul Smars when I'm in really big trouble. I'm a proud husband, stepdad and grandpa. I'm also a singer/songwriter, play rhythm guitar and lead vocals for a Celtic rock band called Warpiper and prior to that band I was in a band called The Finn MacCools. Music and writing have been with me since early childhood. The simple joy of creating has always been the reason for writing songs, stories and novels.
