I was born in Charleston, W.V., USA in 1951. We moved to Norfolk, Va. during the height of the "Cold War" and there, I finished school. I became very interested in the Bible in 1963 and have endeavored since then to know the scripture through both private and formal study. I also love world history. In 1971 I graduated from FREED-HARDEMANN college and accompanied some of our missionaries in carrying bibles into the satellite countries of the Soviet Union and one trip into Russia, itself. In visiting European countries, I was impressed at how countries of the past had tried to corruptly control people's minds in the guise of religion and that secular rule often continued the misery, but gave religion a bad reputation. The way people of power had misused religion stirred a contempt in my soul for the misuse. Later, when I became in searching the genealogy of my family, I traced the Osbornes back to very early Britain and gave me the seed material for this novel. I hope you enjoy it.
