Elaine Clayton is an artist and author/illustrator of several books for children and books for adults on empathic-intuitive intelligence. Elaine teaches intuitive development using creative-meditation drawing methods. She is the author of THE WAY OF THE EMPATH (Hampton Roads 2022), MAKING MARKS: Discover the Art of Intuitive Drawing and ILLUMINARA INTUITIVE JOURNAL with CARDS and others, A LITTLE BIT of ANGELS, A LITTLE BIT of FAIRIES (Union Square Books) and A Pug's Guide to Happiness. She is an intuitive reader and Reiki Master. She has taught in premier independent schools in Atlanta, Boston, New York City and as visiting author/artist in cities in USA. She has worked in public schools, museums, libraries and wellness centers as artist in residence or visiting author/illustrator, worked in community aid organizating and at a Cesar Chavez migrant camp. Elaine Clayton studied at School of Visual Arts in NYC, Master of Fine Arts in Visual Essay. Studio commissions include intuitive reading sessions, paintings, murals and portraits. Her editorial art includes work for the New York Times, New York Times Book Review, and books by Pulitzer Prize Winning author Jane Smiley and author of the popular Broadway play WICKED, Gregory Maguire. Elaine posts art daily on her on-line open sketchbook, www.elaineclayton.com, a site dedicated to stream drawing technique she developed to increase intuitive-creative development, dreams, intuition, inspiration and spirituality.
