Emily (Tobler) Cavins is a native of Minnesota. She and her husband Jeff Cavins have travelled extensively, leading pilgrimages to Bible related locations with a focus on an annual visit to the Holy Land. Emily has been fascinated with archaeology since childhood and pursued a degree in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology at the University of Minnesota after raising her three daughters. She is finishing a graduate program from Veritas International University School of Archaeology with a masters in Near Eastern Archaeology and Bible History. She has participated in archaeological digs in Israel and did extensive research on the Mohawk village locations in New York where St. Kateri Tekawitha was born. Emily was received into the Catholic Church in 1996 and has been involved in educating children in Bible literacy.
