Guy served as a Chief Warrant Officer and Pilot in The Republic of Vietnam from 1971 to 1972. He was first pilot and aircraft commander, flying 187 top secret missions, mostly in Cambodia. Guy lives in his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. He has two children and six grand children. His first novel, "In The Nam," is dedicated in honor of the 2.7 million brave men and women who served their country during the war in Vietnam, and their families and loved ones. "A staggering 58,220 were killed and 153,000 were wounded," Guy says, "and at present, there remain 850,000 living Vietnam Veterans. For many of us, the war never ended."
