Hannah Wunsch is a critical care physician and researcher in New York City. She is the Vice Chair for Research for the Department of Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Hannah grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, attended medical school at Washington University, and received a master's degree in epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She trained in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Columbia University and currently lives in New York City and Woods Hole, Massachusetts. She has published work in McSweeney's, the Globe & Mail, The Literary Review of Canada, and Nature. She is an avid tennis player and a keen, but terrible, ice hockey player.
