Henry Matlock is an ordained Christian preacher, who is thoroughly convinced that there is hope and help for everyday people in real life situations that can be found only by establishing and building a personal and intimate relationship with the living God. Henry believes that prayer, meditation, worship, praise, and especially study of the Bible unlock doors of successful living that are otherwise inaccessible to us. Sought after and referenced with regard to abundant Christian living, Henry is a faith columnist for The American Banner newspaper and has been featured in a variety of broadcast, print and online media throughout the United States and Ontario, Canada. As a preacher of the Gospel, Henry has spoken to audiences on such topics as living as God originally created us, overcoming issues of our past, and pursuing godliness in an ungodly society. A son of educators, Henry would say the gift of teaching literally is in his blood. Having worked in healthcare administration for 10 years, Henry is board certified in healthcare management and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the world's premier association of leaders in the field of healthcare administration. He also serves his local community in various capacities. A native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Henry graduated from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas with an undergraduate degree in Finance. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a Master of Science in Finance from The University of Memphis, and a Master of Health Administration from Saint Louis University. Henry is blessed to be happily married to his best friend and sweetheart of many years. He and Johnnie strive to model Christ and Church every day and to demonstrate before the world the beauty and joy of marriage as designed by the Lord.
