Southern writer Imari Jade hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, but presently resides in the city of Marrero, across the Mississippi River. She is the mother of three sons and she has eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Imari began writing back in the 1980's, publishing articles and short stories while she worked for the K-Mart Corporation. Then in 2006 she landed a contract with StarDust Press for her novel "A Christmas to Remember." Imari considers herself a multi-genre writer. She has published contemporary, cougar, interracial/multicultural, erotica, paranormal, horror, fantasy, and M/M, and yaoi romance. Her biggest series to date is her Asian Pretty Boy series. Since 2006 Imari has had a string of success with her novels. To date she writes for Melange Books, Totally Entwined and Pride Books, Siren-Bookstrand, Amazon.com (KDP) and Jaded Press. She has recently retired from her full-time job of thirty-two years and looks forward to attending conferences in the upcoming years. Imari's dream is to continue publishing with each of her current publishers now that she is a full-time writer. She's always looking for new adventures and learning about new cultures. She's currently working on updating her website/blog and finally utilizing her vlog. She can also be found on social media through FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram. Coming soon to YouTube. Besides her writing, Imari is a big K-Pop fan. Her favorite groups at the moment are Stray Kids and Black Pink. She's also a fan of TVXQ, Big Bang, Itzy, Highlight and BTS.
