Hello, and thanks for visiting my author page! I am the the author/illustrator of the picture books THE WORLD IN OUR BACKYARD, MAE AND THE MOON, SEB AND THE SUN, IMAGINATION VACATION, and STARBOY (Inspired by the life and Lyrics of David Bowie). I have also illustrated MY DADDY CAN FLY, written by Thomas Forester and Shari Siadat. In addition to making picture books, I also work as a Texture Supervisor at Disney’s Industrial Light and Magic in the visual effects film industry and have worked on more than 30 motion pictures including, Avatar, The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian, Free Guy, and Aquaman, amongst many others. Originally from Madison Wisconsin, I spent time living in Los Angeles, and London, England, but now call beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia my home, where I live with my husband, two children, and a big orange cat. When not writing, drawing, or making movies, you can find me walking through the rainforest or searching for treasures along the seashore.
