I am an only child, born and raised in Louisiana. My family is in the shrimp business, so we all work together. I was not always a reader but somewhere in my forties, I was introduced to my very first zombie book. I was already a fanatic about zombies and all things horror. Once I got a taste of reading. i went crazy. I have read very, many apocalyptic stories and always look forward to the next one. A few years back. I was commenting on a famous author's page and another author contacted me. I was at the hospital taking chemo at the time and had plenty of time to spare. I have a very rare cancer in which i will be on chemo for the rest of my life. We talked and messaged for a good long while, and he encouraged me to join a group. Once I did, my whole world opened up to a brand-new adventure. I could see and talk to other author's regularly and made many great friends, even some putting me in their books or asking me to beta read for them. After a while, I finally got the courage to write this book myself and here I am today - My first book of what I hope to be many.
