John Marble is the founder of Pivot Neurodiversity, an organization empowering companies to modernize recruitment, hiring, and culture to better support neurodivergent employees. He is also a classroom instructor and training partner with Neurodiversity Pathways. A writer and speaker on innovation, workplace culture, and neurodiversity, he has served as an advisor to various policy makers and as an aide to two U.S. Presidents. In 2009, he was appointed by President Obama to serve in the United States Office of Personnel Management, where he became the first openly-autistic presidential staff member in American history. Multiply neurodivergent, John credits his ADHD, autism, and dyscalculia as gifting him with a curiosity and passion to understand the world around him. This has led him to build a career centered on understanding and valuing the diverse perspectives and experiences of others. His ability to see various viewpoints proved particularly beneficial in the often-divided world of politics, allowing him to develop solutions that were inclusive and effective for everyone. John brings this same approach to his work as a teacher, consultant, public speaker, and visual artist. He is committed to promoting neurodiversity in a way that fosters mutual understanding among everyone involved – ensuring that neurodivergent people, parents, and allies are heard, empowered, and understood.
