Jonni Rich is a North Louisiana native and lives in that part of the state. She is a retired retail store owner and librarian in the public sector. Educated in North Louisiana with continuing studies at LSU, University of Florida, and Harvard. she is multi-published in amateur sleuth series, Gothic Suspense, and Romantic Suspense, specializing in Southern Gothic with a touch of the paranormal. She is a long-time member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters-in-Crime, American Christian Fiction Writers, and Romance Writers of America. Her children are grown and settled in their lives. The grandchildren are a constant source of love and joy. When not writing or researching for her novels, she plays endless games of solitaire (online) and works on crossword puzzles. An avid collector of books, depression glass, and porcelain, her shelves runneth over literally. She has a passion for textiles and haunts obscure outlets for unusual fabrics and designs, the more eclectic the better. A member of the Agatha Christie fan group and the Dorothy L. Sayers fan group, she enjoys rereading these authors' great mysteries and watching the movie adaptations of their works. She wishes she could have lived during the time period of Sir Walter Scot's Quentin Durward, and married a Scottish Archer (among other fancies). Jonni Rich writes about brave resilient heroines who overcome unexpected dangers and thrive while dealing with the tension and high drama they face.
