Dr. Kelly Fradin is a pediatrician and passionate advocate for children and parents. Originally from Charlotte, NC, she was inspired to become a doctor by her experience surviving childhood cancer. As a pediatrician, she has spent her career working with families in academic complex care, public health-oriented school programs and private practice. Her first book Parenting in a Pandemic: How to Help Your Family through COVID-19 helped to inform and empower parents during difficult times. Her newest book Advanced Parenting shares advice for supporting children when they face the unexpected. She shares advice on social media @AdviceIGiveMyFriends. Dr. Fradin lives with her husband Bill and her two children in New York City.
