See https://www.kennethleemorgan.com for a blog about Sins of the Magi Kenneth Lee Morgan was raised in the Ozark Mountains, the oldest mountains in North America. When he was 18 years old, he joined the Army and went straight to Viet Nam. Starting as a private, Morgan gained the rank of captain. He twice commanded Combat Engineer Companies of 160 men. His long subsequent career was as a technical writer, speechwriter, and spokesperson. The job of a spokesperson works like this. If the government does something good, a politician comes out and takes credit for it. If the government does something bad? Like, say, contaminating the water supply with uranium. Then they say, “Mr. Morgan, can you please go talk to the angry people outside. Oh! And NBC wants to talk to you.” Since retirement, Morgan has concentrated on writing books for the public. His first was the memoir of his experience in the Vietnam War. Although the memoir touches on combat, it focuses on the joy and tragedy of relationships and Morgan's love of the Vietnamese. Subsequently, he has published "Sins of the Magi." It is the story of the first Christmas informed by the witness of ancient writers and archaeology. The book has copies of the only images of the magi in the era of the birth of Christ.
