Born in 1968 to a military family at Langley AFB, Virginia, Matthew Scott Hunter knew early on that he would be involved with the US Armed Forces. Upon graduating from Park College in Computer Science, M.S. Hunter acquired a full-commission in the US Air Force as a Communications officer, and was stationed in Germany. During his military career, Matt has been stationed either permanently or temporarily on every continent on the globe. Once his career with the Air Force was complete, he worked for many defense contractors including: Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Harris as a Business Systems Analyst and Engineer. It was during this time that Matt also began working as a creative writer, developing treatments and screenplays for various groups and companies. Living and working in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Matt has now begun to convert many of his screenplays into novels, including the award-winning 'Counseling the Devil' and the recently published 'My Last Real Summer'.
