My books on Amazon are split into three genres: Historical, Science Fiction, and short stories where ordinary people find themselves in extraordinary ghostly or supernatural situations. Alpha Choice was my debut Sci Fi novel followed by a spin-off The Journey of Rin – Awakening. It is set fifteen hundred years before the Te'an Trilogy, and charts the journey of Rin. The novella stands apart from the Alpha, drawing to a close many years before many of its protagonists are born. I have half-completed the follow-up to Alpha (Omega Shift) and pencilled the outline of the third and final part (Infinity's End). Some say Alpha Choice is military Sci-Fi, and I suppose it has a partial military setting, but not all scenarios are military, and the stories aren't peppered with space battles – although there are some. Others say it is suffused with subterfuge and political machinations. The short stories started as a collection of seven: Mystery and Misadventure. This is where the reader is introduced to the mysterious Samuel Prite (S.P.). The follow-up volume: Mystery and Misadventure – An Old Acquaintance, contains thirteen stories. In this volume we learn more about the mysterious Samuel, and characters who appear in some of these stories will be seen again in volume 3. The third volume: Mystery and Misadventure – A Reunion, contains another thirteen stories, taking the total to thirty-three. To enjoy this set needs knowledge of the other books as events start to draw characters from different stories together. I have yet to upload Reunion despite it being ready for six years. I will release it shortly before the volume which brings the series arc together (The Fifth Spoke). My latest book is Ring of Lapis set in the second century AD in Roman Britannia and covers the invasion of what is now Scotland by Emperor Septimius Severus.
