Following in the footsteps of her literary influences—Agatha Christie, Anne Perry, Caroline Graham, and Elizabeth Peters—she finally answered the persistent creative voices calling her to write, launching her own series of traditional mysteries featuring Detective Charlie McClung. A firm believer that age is just a number, Mary Anne embraces life with infectious enthusiasm, whether she's careening through stores on shopping carts or dancing with unbridled joy. This spirited approach to life shines through in her writing, particularly in the vibrant female protagonist of the Charlie McClung Mysteries. Currently living in Canton, GA with her husband and their ill-tempered tuxedo cat, Gertrude, Mary Anne dedicates herself to both her craft and her community. She actively volunteers at a local food pantry and serves as a liaison for her local library, embodying her belief that meaningful storytelling and community service go hand in hand.
