Michael Bruner (1967- ) at a young age developed a deep love for old black and white horror movies that secured a life long appreciation for the dark and spooky. For years he ran a neighborhood home haunt 'The Monster Maze was also co-owner of the National Halloween, Horror, Haunted House and Hearse Convention. His first book, "The THINGs That Go Bump In The Night" was written for his son to help him get over his fears about moving into a new home that was filled with strange sounds. Michael Bruner now owns one of the last mom and pop Halloween stores \ costume shops in America, MALL1031,just outside of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The store boasts both new and vintage Halloween and Haunted Attraction items.
