Michael J Howard is a lifelong learner and explorer of philosophy, spirituality, world religions, history, and the sciences. Introduced to Near-Death phenomena and Plato’s Republic at a young age, he was driven to study many ancient Greek and Roman philosophers. This path led him to the deeper histories and religious beliefs of ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, as told by the sciences of archeology and anthropology. A natural feature along this path was the study of the scriptures of Christianity and Judaism, which he engaged in deeply. In this, he studied multiple iterations and many interpretations, discovering along the way the various mystery traditions and mystical interpretations of these scriptures. This led him to a study of the Qur’an and the Dhammapada. The Dhammapada, specifically, led him to many other works of Buddhist tradition. Veering away from religious traditions, he turned towards ancient prehistory, the ancestral human population, and the genetic drivers that made us who we are today. Along the way, he has studied history, logic, political science, and mathematics. More recently, he has delved deeply into the scientific and mystical implications of Near-Death phenomena, Quantum Theory, and Biocentrism. Residing in Paradise, California, the small town devastated by the Camp Fire in 2018, Mr. Howard is now semi-retired after spending 35 years as a data analyst. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Metaphysics.
