Nghia M. Vo is a researcher of Vietnamese history and Vietnamese-American culture. His research interest begins with "The Trung Sisters Revisited" and continues with "The Vietnamese Boat People, 1954 and 1975-1992," "The Bamboo Gulag," "Saigon. A History," and "Legends of Vietnam." He has collaborated on "The Vietnamese Mayflowers of 1975," that details the unique experiences of a group of professionals and their families who left South Vietnam at the end of a long war. He has written articles for the 14-book series, "IndoChina in the Year of the Cat, 1975" with the Vietnam Veterans for Factual History whose mission is "to study and disseminate factual, well researched information about the Vietnam War..." He has also founded SACEI or Saigon Arts, Culture, and Education Institute, a 501(c) 3 organization to promote Vietnamese-American culture. His newest book is titled, THE ARVN AND THE FIGHT FOR SOUTH VIETNAM.
