Patti Perez was born in El Salvador and arrived in the US at the age of three. She's worked and lived in numerous cities in the US and Latin America, which helped hone her diplomacy and communication skills (and earned her the description of being a "compassionate sharpshooter"). She focuses on combining her education and experience to guide employees and leaders on thoughtful and practical ways to create healthy and inclusive cultures at work - in other words, drama-free cultures - thus inspiring the publication of her first book, The Drama-Free Workplace. Patti is a graduate of UCLA and the UCLA School of Law, has worked as an attorney, HR executive, expert witness, workplace investigator, workplace trainer and entrepreneur. She currently serves as VP at Emtrain, a culturech company offering online training, expert guidance and insightful analytics. She and her husband, Tom, have three children - Nick, Christina and Tony - and live in San Diego. Follow Patti on LinkedIn or Twitter (@patticperez).
