Paul R. Kolbet is Lecturer in Early Christianity at Yale Divinity School and Co-Chair of the Augustine and Augustinianisms Group of the American Academy of Religion. In addition to his books, he has also published articles on topics ranging from early Christian strategies for coping with state-sponsored torture to contemporary Christian realism in journals such as Ecclesiology, Harvard Theological Review, Journal of the American Academy of Religion, Modern Theology, and the Toronto Journal of Theology.
