Born in Burlington County, New Jersey, Penelope loves using words to paint pictures in the hearts and minds of others. As a teacher, a pastor, retired professor, and a leadership consultant Penelope wants to inspire others to live their best lives. A graduate of Chatham College (now University) with additional degrees from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and Wesley Seminary in Washington, D.C., Penelope has also lived in eastern Kentucky, St. Louis, Mo., Montrose, PA., and Annapolis, MD. With David, her husband of fifty-plus years, she now reads, writes, and awaits the end of the global pandemic when she may return to past times like Mah Jongg and golf. Her residence is in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia She is also the mother of Jennifer Wakeman, grandmother of Rachel and Samantha, mother- in-law to Bradley and is tolerated by her cats Lewis, GrayC, and Figaro.
