Rachel Rabkin Peachman is a journalist and author specializing in health, science, and parenting. She's written for outlets such as The New York Times, Consumer Reports, The Atlantic, Parents, Condé Nast Traveler, and The Washington Post. While on staff at Consumer Reports, her investigation into dangerous infant sleepers spurred the recall of millions of products and led to legislation banning the sale of certain infant products. Rachel has also been a health editor at magazines including Hearst’s Healthy Living, Family Circle, Parents, and Parenting. She has won a Deadline Club Award from the Society of Professional Journalists, been a finalist for the National Magazine Award given by the American Society of Magazine Editors, and received the Kathleen M. Foley Journalist Award from the American Pain Society. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, Rachel lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children.
