Ray Lincoln's parenting book, I'M a KEEPER, became a bestseller on Amazon in 2010 and remains extremely popular, continuing to pop into the top 100 in Parenting on any given day. Ray was born in New Zealand to dairy farming parents and knew a life with no hint of luxury. He graduated early from high school as the only student in his class to complete the national graduation exam a year early. The ultimate student, at age 16 he began to learn Greek, studying in his basement "library," which he constructed under his parents' home near Auckland. He worked his way through 4 university programs of study by hay-baling in the summers. His interests are many and when a subject sparks his interest, he avidly pursues the information and skill necessary to achieve an above average level of skill or accomplishment or to develop a bank of understanding on a subject. A case in point was when he determined to learn the sport of golf. He broke 100 on his very first round, shooting 99. His varied background is revealed in colorful, graphic language that keeps listeners glued to his every word. The personality that developed from his vast experience unfolds in the pages of I'M A KEEPER, INNERKINETICS, and in his book on fear, A JOURNEY THROUGH FEAR TO CONFIDENCE (which illustrates to readers, through his experience preparing to lead an expedition into an erupting volcano in the 1960s, the steps to overcoming their fears). His wealth of human understanding spills out in THE INNERKINETICS OF TYPE, INTELLIGENTLY EMOTIONAL, YOUR CHILD'S EMOTIONAL WORLD - Part 1; YOUR CHILD'S EMOTIONAL WORLD - Part 2 and I'M STILL A KEEPER (for parents of pre-teens and teens) -- all written since 2009. The books just keep coming! "I've always wanted to write," he says. The responsibilities of work and family left little time for it until his "retirement" in 2005, although he did manage to produce a number of books, articles, and other works over the term of his career as a teacher, university professor, lecturer, and pastor. Far from "retired," however, he is very active in consulting, writing, teaching, and training. He recreates by hiking, fly fishing, reading, and photography, to name a few of his activities -- all enhanced by the beauty of the Hill Country of Texas where he has resided since 2018. He is the founder of Ray W. Lincoln & Associates and InnerKinetics®. He is a professional consultant and an expert in human nature. His 50 plus years of experience in speaking, teaching, and counseling began in New Zealand and have carried him to Australia and the United States. He speaks with energy and enthusiasm before large and small audiences. It was not by accident that he became the international speaker and consultant that he is today and acquired the ability to guide so many to a happier, healthier, more fulfilled life. Ray has studied extensively in the fields of Philosophy, Temperament Psychology, and Personology. As a ten-year member of the National Speakers Association, his expertise has been used as a lecturer and professor, teacher and keynote speaker, seminar presenter, counselor, and coach. He teaches and leads in staff trainings, university student retreats, and parents' educational classes, as well as other seminars and training events. He also trains and mentors teachers and other professionals and executives -- all with the goal of understanding our own temperaments and those of others. Read more about Ray W.
