“Doc Rick” is licensed in Missouri and California; he actively treats track and field athletes from around the world and elite athletes from every sport all across North America. He focuses on rehabilitation of knee, shoulder, and elbow injuries and has authored three books on tennis injuries. He grew up in Miami, Florida; attended the University of Minnesota for his undergraduate degree; completed his medical training at Washington University and the University of Pennsylvania, and—in 1986—completed a sports medicine fellowship with head and neck injury pioneer Dr. Joseph Torg. Lehman’s experience with Olympic and pro athletes is unmatched. As a parent of and friend to athletes, also, he looks at every patient, not with the next competition in mind, but their long-term wellness. Dr. Lehman currently serves as the Director of the U.S. Center for Sports Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
