Ron’s journey into coaching began as a gymnastics coach, where he demonstrated exceptional talent and passion. At just 15, he became the youngest representative of the Ontario Gymnastics Federation. Over the course of 13 years, he coached athletes across developmental, pre-competitive, and competitive levels, building a legacy of excellence. His leadership skills were further recognized when he was selected from his high school to attend the Ontario Athletic Leadership Camp, later coaching his high school’s senior girls' volleyball team. To support his education through university and chiropractic college, Ron showcased his daring side, working as a stuntman in the pirate show at Canada’s Wonderland. Today, with over 30 years of chiropractic experience, he has helped countless individuals—ranging from children to Olympic athletes—improve their musculoskeletal health. His dedication to sports and fitness has seen him serve on healthcare teams at prestigious events like the Pan Am Games. Ron’s teaching credentials include roles as an Anatomy lab instructor at the University of Calgary and a modality lab instructor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. His innovative spirit was evident when he implemented a factory-wide exercise program at Weston Apparel and provided fitness consultancy for the Toronto Ski Club and the Georgian Bay ski race team. Renowned for his motivational approach and dedication to sustainable health, Ron has shared his expertise through numerous publications and as a guest expert at IdeaCity. His philosophy centers on the vital role of core strength, balance, and functional fitness as cornerstones of overall health and injury prevention. This philosophy not only guides his professional practice but also shapes his personal lifestyle. A firm believer in leading by example, Ron seamlessly integrates fitness into his daily routine, enabling him to fully embrace his passions for mountain biking and skiing.
