Stephen Anderson (1954-) spent much of his teen years in San Clemente, California, where he began developing a great love of family history. At age 16 he began calling distant relatives to ask questions about his family. With each interview, he developed a greater love of the enormous variety of stories that make up a family. These stories have much to teach us today and create a legacy for future generations. Over the years, Stephen has completed several hundred interviews with individuals around the world. This experience has given him a firm belief that everyone has a fascinating story to tell; a story that has something to teach us and should be shared. Stephen's undergraduate and post-graduate work was completed in Family and Community History at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He worked 26 years for FamilySearch, International, one of the biggest family history search sites in the world. For more than 20 years he has spoken at various conferences on themes that touch upon some aspect of the human story. Stephen has recently retired and now has more time to speak and write about his insights into the human story.
