Twyla Wren grew up in a poor dusty town in Texas and has lived most of her life around the Southern areas of Texas and New Mexico. Outside of writing she enjoys collecting crystals and minerals, her favorites being raw Lapis Lazuli and Malachite. She also loves rainbows and cloud shapes. As a young reader, she was always drawn to horror stories and mystical things. Her biggest writing influences are Stephen King, Charles Bukowski, and J.R.R. Tolkien. She lives in the outskirts of Albuquerque in a remote area with her cat Frankenstein.
