William Kriel was born and raised in a small town in central Ohio. After graduating from high school he joined the Air Force as a Security Specialist, for four years at McConnell AFB in Wichita, KS. After separating from the Air Force He moved to Michigan, where he now lives. His writing was heavily influenced by early television crime shows like Dragnet, and he still enjoys programs like Forensic Files, and The New Detectives. He enjoys traveling, particularly in the American southwest, because of his interest in the Old West and its legends.
