Wykinnya Whitehurst was born to mother, Janet Hightower, and father, Samuel Sims from Halifax County, Virginia. Wykinnya is an only child, however God has sent her sisters beyond the blood. In 1988, Wykinnya graduated from West Roxbury High School in West Roxbury, Massachusetts and returned to South Boston, Virginia in 1990. She is a mother of two beautiful children, Jasmine Shanicess and Zaquarie Dontey Hightower, who are gifts God designed especially for her. Through them she discovered many purposes for her life. In 2012, she married the love of her life, supporter, best friend, and confidant Eric Whitehurst. Wykinnya’s life is now filled with happiness, joy, and completeness.
