This book was not just your typical drama where you can guess the whole story line. It had twist and surprises. I think it makes a good first listener book. Especially if you enjoy a good lifetime movie and trying to get into reading. There was enough going on to make you want to keep listening. The narration of the book was very believable. It is a book for a mature listening audience. It central truth is how one decision can change your whole life.

Zoey's husband,no matter what Zoey did or put thru him thru he still loved her.

Where does Addicted rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I give this story a 5 Star rating among the audiobooks that I've listened too. It was really a good story I never wanted to turn it off. But, of course, there were times where I had to stop. I especially liked the narrator she was excellent. A narrator can make or break an audiobook.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The story is about Zoe and her addiction. She was my favorite character hands down. This book was full of action and all the action had something to do with Zoe in one way or the other. It was romantic how Zoe and her Husband fought to stay together. Only true love could get a couple through the challenges they were faced with.

Have you listened to any of Nicole Small’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first Nicole Small performance that I've listened to. Like I've already mentioned she's was very good. She's Awesome!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Zoe was talking with her doctor about her problem and she was so mad about messing with men who were not her husband. She needed to know why she was doing this to her husband. And, she really got upset with the doctor and accused the doctor of suggesting that she cheat on her husband. I believe, it was at this point that I actually realized that she had a sickness and that Zoe really could not control her bad behavior.

Any additional comments?

Really good story. Kudos to the storyteller, Zane!

A fast paced, snappy tale about a young woman struggling with sex addiction. Lots of action and great dialogue. The narrator was great(!!) and added an additional dimension to an already very entertaining story. I’m not into heavy explicit sex scenes, and there are many in this story. I just kind of tuned those out as I find them boring, actually, and could really do very well without them. Too bad about that...however, still definitely a worthwhile listen. Great sound effects too(!), something pretty rare in single narrator audiobooks. Things get really creepy-scary towards the end there, so reader beware!!

First of all, I love the narrator. Second, I saw the movie and loved the book more. The book made everything flow and I thoroughly enjoyed all the action and the "love wins all" ending.
