I'm coming back through all the books to leave this author and this series it's much deserved and necessary review. book 2 confirmed for me that this series was rapidly rising to my Top of all fictions list. the well kept minor details. the very well designed plot. the build up of the relationships. and so many more words. this is worth the listen if the first book was for you it only gets so much better.

I really enjoy the approach of improving magical processes with modern science. It's a fun geeky take that allows for alot more buy-in.

this book is better than the first and I mean that in a good way because the first was good. the intrigue and twists are huge and I am sad this serious is only 2 years old and I am finding it now

I am definitely enjoying this series. The science, the magic, the imagination that it takes to create such an interesting world of sorcery! The erotica blending into the rest is just a cherry on top! Really appreciate the story so far. Look forward to continuing the series. Thank you!

a good follow-up to a pretty great book is hard to do, luckily. Michael Dalton had some juicy surprises under his cap that absolutely elevated this book. there are a lot of good reveals that I won't spoil, but if you enjoyed the first one, you're really going to like this one.

oh and before I forget, this audiobook goes from a five star to a 10 star with the inclusion of Sierra Klein and her cotton candy voice that just drips with sex.

The one criticism I will lay is I wish they were more talkative during the sex scenes just because I know how good. Sierra Klein is with her expressive bouts of passion.
