Acerca de esta escucha

Flying halfway 'round the world to meet his potential soul mate sounds like a fine idea to Dylan Sullivan - until he discovers said soul mate, Annie, has gone looking for him. In Australia. Now Dylan's adrift, a bloke from the Outback alone in the bloody big city. Until he's rescued by Monet, a gorgeous local artist… and Annie's best friend. A dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, Monet has never met anyone like Dylan. Taking temporary care of the sizzling-hot cowboy is easy; he's friendly, funny and interesting.

Keeping her hands off him is decidedly not easy. That horny accent, that killer grin... and as a successful artist, Monet is very much a hands-on sort of girl. Dylan and Monet hold back until they learn Annie is engaged in her own foreign affair in Oz. Then all bets - and clothes - are off. But it can only be a fling. An Aussie cowboy doesn't belong in New York any more than a city girl belongs in the Outback. Now if only their hearts would listen.

Reseñas editoriales

Lexxie Couper and Mari Carr co-wrote Misplaced Cowboy, a hilarious, erotic, fast paced romance novel. The second in their Foreign Affairs series, this novel revolves around an Australian cowboy who follows his heart to New York. Predictably, the girl of his dreams is already gone, but here is where the novel's delightful twists start. When cowboy Dylan meets Monet, a steamy, electrifying romance ensues, and only India Plum could keep up: she gives a slightly sassy, Australian accented performance, not to be missed.

Where does Misplaced Cowboy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

middle range, not as good as the first of the series but keeps with history and storyline

What did you like best about this story?

You just never know what's going to come out of Dylan's mouth, he is hilarious!

What does India Plum bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great New York, Australian, and New York cabbies accents. She didn't give Monet the strength and emotion that Mari Carr and Lexxie Couper intended. Her intonations made Monet sound as if she were reading a magazine and smoking a cigarette while Dylan was working up a sweat to give her pleasure. Oh, and that yawn... editors should have caught that.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

FWB

Any additional comments?

Again, much too short but great story line with funny and interesting characters. These twins are hot and these friends are sexy women, add in a twist of fate and you never know what might happen.

Fun story line with interesting characters

If you could sum up Misplaced Cowboy in three words, what would they be?

Great but the ending was too abrupt.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Misplaced Cowboy?

The first art gallery scene.

Which character – as performed by India Plum – was your favorite?

I can't pick. I love her narrations.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed everything up to the abrupt and dangling ending.

I didn't think it would happen but I like the book better than the first one. To be honest they're both great!! Indiana Plum does an excellent job!!

What disappointed you about Misplaced Cowboy?

The book just ended awkwardly! I looked at reviews on Amazon & they said the last chapter is missing in audible. So now I don't know how it ended?! What the heck.

Has Misplaced Cowboy turned you off from other books in this genre?

I won't bother with any of the others in the series. Especially if the endings are thus bad.

Missing ending!!
