So much better than I expected

The narrators did an amazing performance with the duet style narration.

The story is so incredibly endearing and funny! The characters are unique and real even though it is high fantasy you get sucked into this world.

This is not smut but the spicy scenes are spicy.

I highly recommend this audiobook

Siggy is absolutely amazing! You will be smirking at the story and pressing your legs together at the smut.

Krampus is an absolute fun ride with perfect DUET narration.

I kept waiting for the plot to kick in but it never did. The twilight references were way to much. I hope book 2 will be better but it’s probably going to sit in my tbr for awhile

Full cast narration!!!

Good God these Cowboy voices! Subtle and sexy!
The female narrator is great her voice matches the character perfectly.
The FMC doesn’t apologize for anything. She owns it and I love it.
These men know just what to say!

I’m loving the plot it’s suspenseful and interesting. I can’t wait to start the next one. Oh wait I don’t have to wait it’s already out… later!

I read the first two books over the winter and decided to wait for the third to come out on audiobook then start from the beginning listening on audible and reading along on kindle. 75% of the spicy scenes have been ripped out of the audiobook. This is a fantasy RH why choose! One does not just edit the good stuff out! Boo E&H you let me down.

Ps. The female narrator sounds like a dying frog when she does her male voices. She nailed the Goblin voices only problem is all the hot and sexy MC’s sounded just the same.

Bad choices were made here and it’s a shame because all it would have taken was to use the same narrators but in Duet Narration and NOT edit a masterpiece!

Well …

First there is really something wrong with audio, it cuts out, repeats lines, skips, unnaturally long pauses. Which really is surprising because Podium is one of my favorite producers for Audiobooks. Perhaps it’s something on Audible side either way it made it not a great listening experience.

Let’s talk Teddy, without him I would have DNF’ed and as always he brought his A game. The only downside this is a dual narration and his chapters were short, so not enough of him.

The female voice was good too.

Now let’s talk story. If you loved the words you may be disappointed because the story is no where near as good. It wasn’t awful but the twists and turns did not surprise me. There were things that bothered me as the story unfolded such as it wasn’t until the end of the book Knox magically has one green and one brown eye.

I will not read the second book and it’s very clear the author has grown since writing the book.

So if your considering reading then you … truly love a good bully high school romance with an antihero, like twists and turns albeit a bit predictable, like a book with a 75/25 story to plot ratio. MC that are Possesive AHoles with a tortured soul and do anything for her.

And you have to accept all the things in the beginning because I warned you because this definitely isn’t a story to go into with high hopes.

In the end I didn’t DNF despite everything so that’s something.

Wow! Just Wow!

I recommend the audiobook, it is duel narration and as a rule I prefer duet, but Teddy Hamilton was amazing.

This is such an amazing love story and Yarros pulls no punches putting you through all the emotions as Nate and Izzy fight themselves and each other to be together despite the world tearing them apart. Fate is a cruel mistress and puts them to the test.

Don’t let this sit on your TBR!
