Historia
These promises are for every believer yet each will admit to not fully experiencing what is promised. Spurgeon helps us to appreciate that all God's promises are the birthright of each Christian. It is not presumptuous or unreal to expect to enjoy what God has promised. We are to measure what God can do by his generous promises, not by our level of expectation.

Historia
If You Can Keep It is at once a thrilling review of America's uniqueness, and a sobering reminder that America's greatness cannot continue unless we truly understand what our founding fathers meant for us to be. The book includes a stirring call-to-action for every American to understand the ideals behind the "noble experiment in ordered liberty" that is America. It also paints a vivid picture of the tremendous fragility of that experiment and explains why that fragility has been dangerously forgotten.

Superb in Every Way
Revisado: 11-23-22
It is books like this that should be required reading for every American high-schooler. Accurate description of our country's founding and what made us exceptional. Then meanders through to Lincoln and current day...what today's generation is missing and what that means. Overall optimistic, though, which is why I liked it so much.

Historia
In this powerful audiobook, pastor, professor, and leading cultural apologist Voddie Baucham explains the sinister worldview behind the social justice movement and how it has quietly spread like a fault system, not only through our culture, but throughout the evangelical church in America. He also details the devastation it is already wreaking - and what we can do to get back on solid ground before it’s too late.

Don’t Read if You Can’t Handle Truth
Revisado: 05-04-21
This is an absolute must-read for anyone who claims the name Christian. It is an in-depth look at the social justice movement, CRT, BLM, and how they all are antithetical to the gospel. Baucham uses the same terminology and definitions of those movements/philosophies that are proffered and used by those leading the SJ charge and are their strongest proponents, so as not to claim concepts and notions about them that they themselves would not claim. He has an in-depth knowledge of all the books being pushed on our culture (e.g. How to Be Anti-Racist, White Fragility, and the like) and brilliantly tears down every argument, using Scripture as his guide, and statistics to debunk false narratives. Baucham's personal experience as a black man who grew up without a father in South Central L.A. in the seventies lends to his credibility on racial issues. According to Baucham, Evangelicals need to pick a side--culture or the Bible, and choose very carefully; there is no middle ground.

Historia
As a Black man, a conservative, a father, a husband, and a Christian, I cannot remain silent any longer. What I witnessed during the presidential election of 2016 caused me to erupt with emotion. All of the negativity and deceit that was transpiring seemed to be casting a shadow over what I believed to be the most important issues affecting our country's future. Why I Couldn't Stay Silent tells a story of one man's pursuit to shine light in the darkness and make sense out of the gloom clouding our country's greatness.

A Must Read If Ever There Was
Revisado: 03-28-20
I listened to this in one day, as I just couldn’t stop listening. A devoted Christian and successful businessman, David Harris, Jr. inadvertently became a major political voice. A lover of America, he reminds us all of what is important to keep America great, and especially challenges black America to no longer have a blind allegro the Democrat Party. I’ve been following him on social media for a year now and have come to respect him greatly. I love his passion and how he calls God “Papa.” Give this book a listen! Totally worth it!

Historia
Stunning...a wonderful listen...a handbook for life. Those words of advance praise from another celebrated author scarcely convey just how powerfully mesmerizing is the latest book by New York Times best-selling author and nationally syndicated radio talk show host Larry Elder. Dear Father, Dear Son is a personal memoir of Elder's troubled - one might even say tortured - relationship with his father, and the astonishing outcome that develops when Elder, at long last, confronts him.

Deserves more than 5 stars
Revisado: 12-06-19
I couldn’t quit listening. I’ve followed Larry Elder for a while now, but to hear how he grew up was interesting and educational for me. What I love most is how his parents, especially his dad, though they faced unfairness and true racism in life, did not let that stop them from succeeding and instilling great values in their children, all without being bitter or hateful. Also, just as important, I applaud Larry for giving his dad a chance (much grace), and that because of that, what used to be nothing but awful memories and a nonexistent relationship, blossomed into a sweet and endearing alliance. The narrator was the best I’ve ever listened to! I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Historia
It was April 5, 1943, and the Gestapo would arrive any minute. Dietrich Bonhoeffer had been expecting this day for a long time. He had put his papers in order - and left a few notes specifically for Hitler's men to see. Two SS agents climbed the stairs and told the boyish-looking Bonhoeffer to come with them. He calmly said good-bye to his parents, put his Bible under his arm, and left. Upstairs there was proof, in his own handwriting, that this quiet young minister was part of a conspiracy to kill Adolf Hitler.
