this book offers a lot of tips and exercises to practice to help address many common issues encountered with ADHD. I found it extremely helpful not only having the scientific explanations for these behaviors but the reasoning why his suggestions might work for you. obviously not everything in this book is going to work for everyone but attempting it and practicing are the first steps.

Let down after the first book...

The performance was the best part. The story and characters were extremely underwhelming. I felt like I waited the whole book for anything exciting to happen. I was more entertained by the previous main characters than these ones. She's really gonna have to step it up for the 3rd book.

Misprounciations and no emotion, this book was not enjoyable. It was difficult to follow because I kept hearing Hawaiian word being mispronounced. While the story my have described characters with a particular sound or accent, the "reader" did not use accents to distinguish who was speaking.

I hate when stories end like this

I won't give anything away. The story is well written. The author expertly draws you in and you root for the main characters. Following the story, you are sad, frustrated and anticipating the next meeting or stolen glance. I still hate the way it ended.

The story wasn't that bad. You expect the Maidens to get into trouble and they didn't disappoint. I don't like the voice for Detective Roland. He's too stiff and serious for someone who is also a fire knife dancer. Even Hawaiian police officers can relax, even be funny. The reading pace of the story was occasionally too fast. If I could adjust the speed, I would have.

Because the characters in the book have lived in Hawaii for quite sometime, it is expected they would know how to properly pronounce Hawaiian terms and names. I expect the narrator should too. Why didn’t anyone catch this before releasing it?
