A fun story
Revisado: 04-30-19
I really enjoyed this story. It was a fun clean romance with a nice spattering of adventure and peril mixed it. I'll be watching for more by this author.

Easily a favorite
Revisado: 05-19-17
This book has started my science fiction appreciation. And a possible addiction. Thomas Locke was already a favorite author of mine from his other works under the name Davis Bunn. Now i find i am greatly delighted with this new series of his, and eagerly await all coming books, as well as the possiblity of a future movie baised on this book as well.

Interesting possibility
Revisado: 05-13-16
An intriguing story with a mind bending take on Christian history and future ramifications. Must say I rather liked the tale of "What if..." presented in this story. There're many enjoyable twists and turns that the author wove through out the centuries, that kept me listening and coming back for more. The ending was a bit rushed for my taste, but I still enjoyed this book well enough to keep my eye open for a sequel, and ponder the possibilities it presented for quite sometime.

Revisado: 03-03-16
Yes, I have been listening to this series backwards. And yes, despite my accidental eccentricity, I still enjoyed this book a great deal. I also found the narrator, Fiona Hardingham, delightful to the ear. Nicely done Marylu Tyndall, and thank you for an intertaining pirate story, with hints of The Scarlet Pimpenel woven through its pages. I'll gladly take a listen to any of your other books.

Historia
When Morgan Shaw crept into the hold of an old pirate ship replica at San Diego's annual Tall Ship Festival, her only intention was to avoid the guy who had just dumped her and who was now boarding the ship with two women on his arm. What she didn't expect was to wake up aboard a real pirate ship 300 years in the past. But of course, it wasn't real. Her wealthy father had obviously staged it all in an effort to get her mind off her upcoming chemo. Or had he?

Swept out on the waves of past times...
Revisado: 02-22-16
This book swept me away on a wonderful adventure. Must admit I mainly bought it due to the narrator, Mary Sarah Agliotta, begin a favorite of mine. I'd been listening to several other books, and simply missed her too much to finish them. So I bit the bullet and bought The Reckoning, which I'd been avoiding up to this point due to the half hearted reviews.
It was a great book. I really can't understand why it wasn't reviewed better. I'm also really hoping Adible picks up all her other books, and has Mary Sarah Agliotta read them, I'd buy them all in a heart beat, and recommend them.
Marylu Tyndall is a wonderful author. I won't doubt her again. In fact i couldn't wait on Adible, so i went online and bought Tears of the Sea, one of her latest. Thanks Adible, and Mary Sarah Agliotta, for introducing me to a new favorite author.

Historia
Captain Arthur Hastings, invalided in the Great War, is recuperating as a guest of John Cavendish at Styles Court, the "country-place" of John's autocratic old aunt, Emily Inglethorpe - she of a sizeable fortune, and so recently remarried to a man 20 years her junior. When Emily's sudden heart attack is found to be attributable to strychnine, Hastings recruits an old friend, now retired, to aid in the local investigation. With impeccable timing, Hercule Poirot, the famous Belgian detective, makes his dramatic entrance into the pages of crime literature.

classic for a reason
Revisado: 02-09-16
This was a fantastic book. For those who have seen the recent BBC programing of Poirot, this is spot on in both the voice narration of lead characters, the flow of the plot, and the story it's self. (Though perhaps I should be saying that BBC was perfectly faithful to the books, as the books did come first.) Either way a fantast story that kept me guessing right up to the end and a talented narration by Hugh Fraser. I can not really imagine any possible way for this book to improve.

Historia
Life for Adda Sinclaire, New York Times best-selling author and historical romance writer extraordinaire, reads more like a country song than a breathless, bodice-bursting affair. For starters, she has no romance in her own life. That might have something to do with the fact that her husband - correction, ex-husband - ran off with Stick Woman, whom everyone knew would never be more than a mid-list author anyway.

A great book to buy twice!
Revisado: 01-26-16
There's no way around it, I really love this book. The humor, the struggle, the romance, the drama, the insecurities, the diolog (both inner and outer), the life situations, and the character's growth and failures, take the listener on lightning fast ride that is difficult to pause and step off of at any point in this book. After reading Stealing Adda, I recall sitting back and wondering just how much of it was baised on actual life experiences by the author? Something about the story and main character struck me as very real. That said, I'd better fess up. I actually owned a hardcopy of this book before I bought it on Adible. What can i say though, I love Stealing Adda. I adore Tamara Leigh. And I HAD to know how this book would sound with Mary Sarah Agliotta reading it in her wonderfully accented tones. Oh, if only I could rate more then five stars.
