The best book I’ve ever read
Revisado: 09-27-24
I love to read… and have read so many different oils… but this book resonated with my soul and was a catalyst for healing I’ve needed for such a long time. It is an incredible story of the love of Christ in a realistic way.

Historia
There are lots of experts out there who will tell you they have the magic recipe to raising perfect humans. Gwenna Laithland is not one of them. She’s one of us. Frustrated, overwhelmed, and exhausted. Her relatable representation of parenthood validates our experiences. In Momma Cusses, Gwenna uses her signature style of snark and sarcasm to explain her interpretation of responsive parenting vs. reactive parenting and outline the steps she takes to raise her kids. Whether you are a parent or someone who has had a parent, we all need to learn how to handle our emotional spirals responsively.

Peanut Butter and Jelly
Revisado: 03-14-24
Despite that the author does not make a PB&J the correct way (no judgment, PB on both sides of the bread jelly in the middle, just saying) and may end up starting an internet war as a result, this is a fabulous and totally relatable resource. I can’t tell you how many nuggets of gold I carried away to help me in the throws of temper tantrums or how many times I found myself nodding along and chatting with the author every step of the way. I know I am better for it. You won’t regret picking this book up at any point during your parenting journey.

Sir Michael Caine - perhaps best known as gang leader Charlie Croker in 60s crime caper The Italian Job - tells the stories of remarkable heists and extraordinary robberies from around the world, as remembered by the masterminds, detectives, victims, journalists and witnesses that lived through them. For more than 60 years, Caine has played thieves, criminals, gangsters and the detectives trying to catch them. But there’s Hollywood and then there’s real life... and that’s when things get really interesting.

OMG I NEED MORE!
Revisado: 09-22-20
Seriously, the title says it all. I love Michael Caine, his voice is just so alluring. The stories are put together well giving enough detail to make you feel like you're there without getting bored. I can't say enough good things about this. It is a great listen!
