Historia
When a chance encounter sparks an unlikely bond between rival murderers Sloane and Rowan, the two find something elusive—the friendship of a like-minded, pitch-black soul. Had high hopes based in reviews … but no
Revisado: 08-31-24
This was a DNF… which I never do. I just could not get into this story. It never grabbed my attention, the characters were boring to me and nothing was suspenseful or anywhere near a “thriller”

Historia
The double murder of a married couple in a small Washington town draws FBI forensic linguist Raisa Susanto into an investigation that mirrors a decades-old crime. Twenty-five years ago—to the day—Alex Parker murdered his parents, then took his own life, leaving behind a note admitting everything. Raisa, paired with forensic psychologist Callum Kilkenny, uses her skills to read between the lines. Especially now that paranoid postings on a conspiracy thread suggest that Alex was a victim himself.

Could not get into this one
Revisado: 01-18-22
I thought with all the great reviews I would really enjoy this…. But after 3 separate tries to listen to this book all the way through I could not get into it. It never grabbed my attention or interest. I can usually hang in there when books have a slow start, or they are building in the beginning, but this book was just Soo boring ! Not for me.

Take a chance on something different !
Revisado: 05-25-20
I really enjoyed this book. It is out of my usual genre so I wasn’t sure ... it was so worth it. The way the story is told is captivating. It takes you on a journey and you begin to really care for Afaf. This is definitely not a typical school shooter story and the way the story flips back and forth from past to present revealing more and more about the characters... it just pulls you in. Great book from start to finish!
