Virtual voice is very distracting While an ok way to pass some time,I did find the fake voice narration pretty regularly annoying, distracting. (Hence 1 star “performance”. There is no performance)The plots are good but there is way too much repetition of story points. Any title that uses fake narration should be included in membership.

Having paid for it, I stuck with it, but the performance is really awful. Really ruined. As much as I’d like to see what happens next, maybe I’ll read it. Can not listen to this performer again. ( Too bad, the first book reader was much better).

The narration makes this almost impossible to get through. The voice grating, cutesy. A struggle to get through, which I only did because I paid for it. Torture. Story thin, no real character development.

I’ve read and re-read all of the authors other books. It was a struggle to get through this one, won’t bother with rest of series. Main character not appealing, the story a little incredulous (including the whole premise of the magistrate asking an amateur to investigate, apparently absent any police). Sorry to say but meh.

the story kept you going, despite some rambling sections. but enough with Blair. He would have been arrested many books ago and his part has become tedious. Ruins it.
