Historia
Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Very well written and beautifully told! The whole time I kept thinking I knew how this story would end. I did now! I was shocked by Lilly’s courage. I can’t wait to see the movie!

Historia
In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history. Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

Best memoir I have ever read!
Revisado: 11-18-23
Britney’s story needs to be heard! Regardless of what you have ever believed to be true about her, or if you never loved her music, her story will touch your soul deeply. You never know what performers are going through… the game face will tell you nothing. She was so brave to put this out. Praising God for giving Britney her voice back, and the ability to see how HE was working in her life all along. She gives so much credit to God and He will use her story to bring hope to so many more. I hope she returns to performing someday. I was a fan when I was younger, but I’m def a new fan of her today.

Historia
Jill and Derick knew a normal life wasn’t possible for them. As a star on the popular TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, Jill grew up in front of viewers who were fascinated by her family’s way of life. She was the responsible, second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle’s nineteen kids; always with a baby on her hip and happy to wear the modest ankle-length dresses with throat-high necklines.

I couldn’t put this book down!
Revisado: 10-29-23
The TLC Duggar series was a favorite and I was a long time Duggar fan. After filtering through so much news over the years, never knowing what to truly believe, I’m thankful for Jill (and Jinger) speaking up regardless of the family dynamic. Jill tells her story with so much truth, grace and love at the same time. I can’t imagine how difficult this was to write, but I can feel that getting her truth out is likely resulted in so much healing. I hope and pray that Jim Bob and Michele both see the divisive and destructive fruit of IBLP ❤️🙏

My story is not about my past, but about your future, says Marie Roberts Monville. In the startling tragedy of the Amish schoolhouse shooting at Nickel Mines, one story has never been told; Marie Roberts Monville, the wife of the man who created such horror, tells her story for the very first time. It is a story of sorrow and destruction, but also one of majestic deliverance, unending compassion, breathtaking forgiveness, and grace-filled redemption. Within a solitary moment, Marie Monville realized that life, as she knew it, was over.

A beautiful story of forgiveness
Revisado: 11-06-21
Forgiveness in the darkest of moments. How forgiveness is received by one left to deal with the aftermath. God showed His grace to this family through a tragedy that shook an entire community.
As I read this is though a lot about Brian Laundries family. How different it could be if community came together with love.

Historia
In the summer after graduating from college, Suleika Jaouad was preparing, as they say in commencement speeches, to enter “the real world”. She had fallen in love and moved to Paris to pursue her dream of becoming a war correspondent. The real world she found, however, would take her into a very different kind of conflict zone. It started with an itch - first on her feet, then up her legs, like a thousand invisible mosquito bites. Then a trip to the doctor and, a few weeks shy of her 23rd birthday, a diagnosis: leukemia, with a 35 percent chance of survival.

Excellent read! I love a good murder mystery. This is dramatized well and had a good story line. I loved it so much I’m listening to it again with my 16 yr old daughter.

A plan i can succeed at!
Revisado: 04-29-19
First of all the Fab Four smoothies are AHMAZING! Turns out I was already implementing a smoothie everyday that had the components of the Fab Four smoothie. I am putting to much fruit in my morning shakes and that may not be helping my blood sugars throughout the day. I have made adjustments to my morning shake and it has made a world of difference. I also increased my fiber some and I stay full longer. I am still trying to figure out how to make it 6 hours in between meals, but I can do 4 hours now with no problem using the guidelines she suggests.
I have found it simple to incorporate the Protein, Fiber, Fat and Greens into each meal. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto's and PCOS, I set out to learn how I can treat my whole body with food. The one thing that I constantly run into with every book I read, is that the author will give a food plan along with a supplement line that is outrageously priced. I find myself not being able to really do the program because I cannot afford $300-$500 a month on supplements they recommend to be successful at their program. Body Love equips me to be successful using foods I can afford, foods I can easily travel with, as well as options for handling dinners out, and how to get back on track of I fall of the bandwagon.
If you are planning to change your life and feel great, it will be challenging to implement even the things you learn in this book! Kelly does a great job at presenting the science behind the Fab Four plan and how it can benefit just about anyone. If you are looking to keep eating foods your already familiar with, have always eaten or ways to still eat fast food everyday, this might not be the right book for you. If you already know the challenges that come with clean and healthy eating, and you have some experience already with preparing clean foods, then you will appreciate the time, energy and money you can save with the Fab Four. If you are new to clean eating and truly are ready to discipline yourself and go all in, you have found a great tool to help you succeed.
