Historia
She's unlike any one or any thing else: a Non-Standard Leashed-Intelligence Cybernetic Enforcer aka NSLICE-00P. The first of her kind, she's let loose into a universe of superheroes on behalf of her sinister masters to destroy all who oppose them. And everything's going according to plan—until NSLICE-00P gets hacked and sent into the past to kill her own creator before he creates her. Obeying orders as always, she wastes the poor guy. Unfortunately, there are consequences to initiating a reality-breaking time paradox. The most significant: total ejection from that reality.

Kinda interesting story, but
Revisado: 04-24-25
If you are looking for a clueless main character that is over powered, its certainly that. I will probably read the next book as im interested to see what happens next. Also authors please note: A string of letters that windows would suggest for a password IS NOT good to a character name used more than a couple times. However, this book has way too much in the way of stat / skill blocks which makes the narrations lack of tonal range even more painful. The valley girl of one of the minions is pretty much the only place where I heard any real difference and that was only for a line or two here and their.

Historia
Edwin Salamand has lived on a farm his whole life. The problem? He's not very good at farming, or anything involving the outdoors, for that matter. When his salamander farm goes belly up, he decides to move to a nearby city. A deal too good to be true goes awry, and he ends up with a dusty old bookshop filled to the brim with unassuming level one skill tomes. Pamphlets, really. It's not the most exciting windfall, but it's a path to an honest life, one that Edwin is confident he can handle. Because running a bookshop for beginners has got to be safe and simple, right? It turns out Edwin's ...

Loved the setup and the theme of the shop.
Revisado: 04-23-25
What I did not particularly care for is the repetitive story, wealthy store owner, does not like competition. This same wealthy guy knows just which officials to bribe to make life difficult, and when he still does not get his way uses increasingly nasty attempts to causes issues.
That being said, Its well worth the listen if your in between books.

Whats the point of an Academy when...
Revisado: 04-16-25
In the main character's first semester of the academy he starts out as the weakest person at the academy. By the end of that semester he is coming out of a major fight that sees others killed, but he is unscathed.
I like the premise, but really should have just been a boot camp instead of the over done academy.

Historia
Living on a Dungeon World kind of sucks when you are one of the smallest species of humanity. It wasn’t easy being a kobold living in a small town in the Virginia Mountains. While Edwin was safe from the gangs that seemed to own the city streets, he was also apparently safe from doing anything of note with his life. Dreams of magic and adventure only existed for him in books and movies, until he came face to face with a dungeon monster.

I enjoyed this book, and loved the narration.
Revisado: 07-16-24
I am still at a loss as to what being a kobold is like vs. a vertically challenged human. All I know is he has scales and is evidently cute since he has long had the problem of people wanting to hug him like some little child.
There is quite a bit of action and humor in the story which makes it well worth listening to. And in places you can feel the excitement building in the story in the voice of the narrator, who does a fantastic job with the voices of the other characters and his ability to draw you in (And as someone who listens at 2x speed, this can be a real challenge).

Historia
In the Void beyond Aster Fall, Sam stands watch at the fortress of Silverguard, protecting the world from an ancient enemy. His strength as an Astral Titan is all that stands between it and destruction. Meanwhile, dimensional cracks are spreading through the World Seal, the barrier that protects Aster Fall from invasion by the Outsider galaxy. Flaws are appearing with increasing frequency as demonic armies flood through, including old enemies from the First War. If the seal fails completely, Aster Fall will break and disaster will follow.

Our Hero is a busy bee in this book.
Revisado: 05-21-24
Lots of events occur, battles against the forces wanting to destroy Aster Fall, crafting, and politics.
Speaking of politics there is the most amusingly the dream of anyone wanting to deal with the politics of those who think they are above everyone and used to the logic of might makes right, when they have the might. With an abrupt and rude awakening for those people.
There is also lots of crafting which is one of the elements which drew me to the series to start with.
The only downside to the audio book is im still not a fan of multiple narrators.

Are you a peasant with a broken class?
Revisado: 05-19-23
Generations of your family have not been able to figure out how to level? You and your father both have no clue on but the basics of leveling and classes because it has never been relevant? Do you have the drive to figure out crafting and unlocking a broken class, then this is the example for you.
If you are not sure if I liked this book, let me be clear, it is fantastic. The main character is not Over Powered (OP) at this point, what the future holds we shall see.
