Two years pass without contact, leaving Trent wondering where things went wrong.Now, back in town for her sister's wedding, Trent realizes he only has three days to try and fix their past mistakes and figure out what really happened. Their sexual chemistry was absolute magic and there was so much emotion in their backstory that you really needed the past and present to fully get in their mindset.

The narrators for this entire series are so on point, the dual POV in separate voices really sets the tone and makes you feel what the characters are going through. There was some really heavy themes throughout and I loved every minute of their rollercoaster relationship and couldn't put this down. I recieved an advance copy of this audio book and this is my honest review.

So many layers

Wow! This is going to take me a while to fully process. I have already purchased the next two books as I need to know where this is going. There were so many intricately woven layers throughout this story. Greer finds herself standing by the side of the President of the United States of America. However things are not so simple as she also stands by the Vice President. Stands may not be the right word.. more like kneels! This trio left me absolutely reeling. Their backstories are so intense and even after being separated for over ten years, fate has a way of bringing them all back together.

The narrator was simply breathtaking, she really made the story come to life and those bedroom scenes were so hot, I nearly melted! That ending left me breathless and I'm off to listen to the next installment. Fantastic listen and a great story.

Enemies to lovers

Another excellent addition to the Inked Hearts standalone series. I have been waiting for Dean to get his own story, watching this cocky and arrogant tattoo artist from other people's perspective in past books left me feeling like he was the commitment phobe player that never wanted the same girl twice. Except when it comes to Chloe, the one who got under his skin.

Chloe is tough and resiliant, brave and fierce. She knows what she wants and that just happens to be Dean. The real issue is can she get him to stick around? The narrators were once again completely on point, making this a very enjoyable le book to listen too.

This was one of those all consuming reads that completely sucks you in because you become so engrossed in their story you can't put it down. Sal has been playing soccer her whole life and the man she idolised as a child, Reiner Kulti has retired from the game and has now taken a position as the coach of her team. As a girl, I understand the obsession of loving a famous player from afar (mine being David Beckham in his Man U glory days) so I completely understood where Sal was coming from. However, reality is never the same as teenage fantasy as Sal soon discovers.

Kulti is one arrogant, closed off alpha male that barely speaks, let alone acknowledges the presence of those around him. As they slowly build a friendship, Sal begins to unravel the mystery behind the icon that is Riener Kulti. This was a fantastic read with so much attention to detail, I was completely absorbed and loved every minute. The narrator did a brilliant job portraying both voices and really made me fall in love with the story.

All the feels

Simply brilliant. Hunter and Natalia first meet at the wedding of mutual friends. They spend the night together, then let a year pass before Hunter gets a job near Natalia for two months and they both agree to a no strings attached relationship of sex..not love. However, the heart always wants what the heart wants and once feelings are involved, there is no convincing the head what the heart is feeling.

There were so many in depth layers throughout with an interwoven back story told from Hunter's perspective that sheds insight into his thoughts and feelings that helped give a better picture of his actions. I loved the push and pull and my heart broke at times and I shed quite a few tears but absolutely adored the way this was narrated. The dual POV really brought the story to life.

Hot Damn!

This was just brilliant. The narration tipped it over the edge for me. I simply couldn't stop listening. There were so many laugh out loud moments that people must have thought I was insane, cackling away on a walk listening to this audio. Ryan is on his way to becoming a world famous Hockey player and he wants to spend one last summer with his best friend Jamie. The only problem with this scenario is that Ryan has always had a crush on his straight best friend and one night together as teens four years ago had him running for the hills.

Seeing Ryan again after no contact for years and not knowing what happened to end their friendship so abruptly causes Jamie to revaluate everything he thought he knew about himself. Their journey from best friends to more was beautiful to witness. It was narrated from both points of view and I felt everything they were going through. Jamie's sexual evolution was told with such raw feeling that at times I just wanted to hug him as he worked through his emotions.
Side note: How awesome is Jamie's family? I loved every minute and can't wait to listen to US to see where their story goes.

This series just keeps getting better and every single chapter left me wanting more. This next instalment in the Like Us series sees Maximoff head out on a tour bus with his four oldest cousins and their bodyguards. They are making their way across the States raising money for HMC Philanthropies a charity in which Maximoff founded and is currently the CEO. The real heart of this story is in the details of each and every character. Each person has their own unique personality, but the focus throughout is on the growing love and relationship between Maximoff and his bodyguard Farrow.

Perfect narration choices for both of the main characters. Farrow just oozes self-confidence, sex appeal and raw masculinity. While Maximoff just shines as the loyal, stoic celebrity superstar that he is. I loved every second of this and can happily say this will not be my first or last listen. Amazing series about the second generation of celebrity royalty and their lives in the spotlight.

His Midnight Lily

Another stunning novel filled with heartfelt emotion and a delicately woven tale about the trials and tribulaions of struggling with mental health issues and the fight to be the best version of yourself when dealing with the stigma that society places on anyone who has been insitutionalised. This is the story of two lost and beautiful souls that meet at a point in time when they both need eachother the most without even realising it. It was so complex and interwoven that at times I was struggling to determine what reality I was facing. The narrators did a brilliant job and really helped bring this magical story to a new level.

The truth will set you free

Mister Moneybags is all about the lies we tell and how the truth will always come out in the end. Dex meets Bianca in an elevator and she jumps to the wrong conclusion due to his casual attire that he is a bike messenger over a billionaire business mogal. He tells her one white lie..that his name is Jay, until it snowballs beyong the hope of any redemption.

Will Bianca forgive Dex once she learns the truth? There were so many secrets and lies to keep track of and the biggest curveball of all threw me through an absolute loop. The dual narration was stunning and on point, both Sebastian and Andi are magnificent in their ability to bring these characters to life. I really enjoyed this.

Another great couple

Walker is a tatoo artist, happy to spend his nights with random women leaving all feelings and emotions aside. Then he meets Iris and they agree to start a friends with benefits hook up with no strings attached. This works out great until they begin spending all their time together and realise that they are now basically in a relationship.

Iris is hiding a secret from Walker that will change his perception of her, but is their new found bond enough to weather this storm? Another fantastic dual POV narration that kept me excited the whole way through. The sexual chemistry was off the charts Hot! Loved it. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this audio book and this is my honest review.
