Historia
Compiled by intrepid journalist Neve Pride, this archive of recordings spans the months after dragons emerged on earth, chronicling the communities that sprang up amid the destruction, the scientists, military leaders, and experts searching for a defense, and those steadfastly seeking the missing. Neve and her young daughter Bex travel among the wreckage speaking to those left behind and surviving, against all odds. Neve records everything for history, and in the hopes of locating a clue as to where the dragons came from and how one might stop them.

Interesting, Well Narrated & Great Twist
Revisado: 04-03-25
I really enjoyed the narration and the twist on recording the live feed. Not a big dragon fan, but great for young adult readers. Jump in the middle to final battles went sort of quick. Worth the listen;-)

Historia
Sloan McPherson and the Underwater Investigation Unit have discovered a van at the bottom of a murky Florida pond. Sealed inside the watery tomb are the bodies of four teenagers who disappeared 30 years ago after leaving a rock concert. To authorities, it looks like a tragic accident. To Sloan, it looks like murder. Every piece of evidence is starting to connect to a string of cold case vanishings throughout Florida. Clue by clue, Sloan navigates the warm, dark waters where natural predators feed, knowing that the most dangerous one is still above the surface - nesting and dormant.

Great, BUT…
Revisado: 03-04-25
I wish I had know, before I started, how much I would hate the content…This was well written and well narrated. I couldn’t stop listening. I had to know what happened…BUT… disturbing content. While I like series, I can’t decide whether to go forward or stop. More of the same???.

Very Nice…Almost gave up at chapter 53…kept going…
Revisado: 01-18-25
I almost gave up on this story because of the spoiler in chapter 53. “I know Patterson writes better than this” I thought, so I kept going. The twist does not come fast, but it comes. Proves once again, that after dozens of books, Patterson writes well! The narration is clear, easy and paced well. Worth the listen.

Hmmmmm…..Not one of her best
Revisado: 01-15-25
This is narrated well, but the story is a bit too…silly, childish…Might work well for YA readers who are around 14-15. The history is off, the “romance” immature and the jumps between then and now are too oddly placed…

It happens more than you might think. One second someone’s life is totally typical, the next it’s terribly tragic. Everything they had, everything they planned, everything they were, all of it vanishes in a flash. Shock and sorrow leave the victim staring into tomorrow’s void, wondering: How did it happen? Who did it? And why?

This is a very well told story, all the way around. Worth the read and worth the listen. I like the fact that the author backed up her story with actual research on real people during g the time period. Also, the story moves along at a decent pace.
