Historia
1812. Arriving back in England after his successes in the Adriatic, Captain Sir Thomas Kydd is bestowed with honours. In London, he's greeted by the Prince Regent, who, despite Kydd's protestations that he's happy with his present command, insists he be given a bigger ship - HMS Thunderer, a 74-gun ship of the line. But she's old, and being part of a standing fleet, Kydd's chances of further fame and distinction are slim indeed.

Great story
Revisado: 07-02-19
I have read all the Fletcher books and was pleased to see them available in audio. The narrator is good but none of the performance has been edited so you hear him start and stop. I hope he continues and gets some better help with the cuts. If you like good sea going tail you will enjoy this series. It is not technical but winds a great story with vivid detail.

Historia
The year is 1703, and Matthew Corbett, professional "problem solver", is missing. Last seen by his friends in New York before he departed on a lucrative, seemingly straightforward mission for the Herrald Agency in Charles Town, he's been too long absent. His comrade-in-arms Hudson Greathouse has an increasing sense the young friend he thinks of as a son must have met with some unexpected peril.

Historia
Life in rural Blanco County, Texas, isn't what most folks would call exciting, and that suits game warden John Marlin just fine. He's happy to spend his days and nights protecting the local wildlife from poachers and the poachers from the local wildlife. There may be a shortage of attractive single women in town, a source of some frustration to Marlin over the years, but he's never really let it bother him...too much.

Good story, terrible narrator
Revisado: 03-14-13
What did you like best about Guilt Trip? What did you like least?
Great stories. Funnier and more enjoyable to read, not listen to, especially of you are a Texan. The most humorist parts were mangled by the poor narration.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Terrible narrator edge of seat never reached
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jonathan Davis?
I have read many of Ben Rehder's Blanco County Mystery's and enjoyed them. Downloaded this and was happy to hear that it was a Texas production. Well they could have gotten a Texan to narrate. Mr. Davis could not pronounce basic Texas towns, rivers or locales. Do a bit of homework before the production.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Yes
