Lesbian Theme
Revisado: 02-08-23
The story concept sounded intriguing, but half way through they decide to make it about a lesbian love story. I wish Audible would put a warning on gay and lesbian story's so that those of us who do not want to read about queer behaviors would not lose money making a purchase they cannot return.

What an amazing story and narration!
Revisado: 08-27-22
A love story, and a hospice come together in this amazing "Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessy." I read the "Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry" and when I found out there was a book about Queenie's story I immediately ordered it. I could hardly put it down. The perspectives were so different and the emotions explained so thoroughly you could "feel" Queenie's longing and her reasons to be silent for so long. The narrator was perfect! Hmmm, I wonder if there will be another book about the third character - Maureen? I highly recommend it!

Historia
At once profoundly personal and far-reaching, Exit Interview with My Grandmother serves as a meditation on the beginning of a young woman’s life and the series of questions that arise from examining love, loss, family, memory, and death. Moving between cities and centuries, Meyersohn probes her family's Jewish history and her grandparents' relationships in part to decipher her own young queer relationships, but also to examine how we ought to behave in the face of a world riddled with uncertainty and doubt.
