Historia
Captain Aidan O’Brien is a decorated officer of the Royal Irish Regiment. While on a personal mission with his brother to retrieve Michael’s would-be mate, Aidan visits an old friend on the local Marine Corps base. Aidan accepts an opportunity to return, to train with the infantry Marines at Camp Lejeune. Alanna Falk is a grad student, working with PTSD patients in a nearby recovery clinic. A few months after the unexpected visit from the O’Brien brothers, Alanna can’t seem to get the eldest O’Brien out of her mind.

Good road trip listen
Revisado: 06-11-22
This book is similar to the first. Very little difference aside from the names of the characters. Two people with previously broken hearts fight the attraction to each other and in the end marry. Also, way too much graphic sex. Sexual descriptions are usually a part of the story line but this one goes above and beyond. They were repetitive, overly long and after the characters first sexual encounter you'll find yourself fast forwarding through all the others as they became so obnoxious to the point of becoming unpleasant to listen to. I do love the family characters but how many hunky men and feisty women can one family have? I won't waste a credit for the third book in this series but if it becomes available in the plus category I will download it. As I said in the headline, this works for something needed to pass the time, road trip, doctor office wait, etc.

Excellent!
Revisado: 05-22-22
This book is one of the best stories I’ve heard in a very long time. I could not stop listening to it. I’m definitely going to look for more stories by this author and read by this narrator. The first chapter and some of the second might make you think you had made a mistake in purchasing but all of a sudden you’ll get hooked. Enjoy!

I tried to stick with it but in the end the narration got to me. This reader is a horror. I don't know why anyone would choose her to read their books. I'm quite surprised that Sherryl Woods would choose her as she has other narrator's who are quite good at what they do. Listen to an excerpt first. If you can get past the narrator and into the story congrats! If not, don't waste your money or credit.

A cute mindless story
Revisado: 03-03-22
If you’re looking for a story that if you miss a few lines or fall asleep while listening there’s no need to back track. You can start again right where you left off and pick up like it never happened. It’s a good listen if you’re driving because you can still drive with care as there isn’t anything in the story that would cause you to take your mind off your driving. If you need something to soothe you to sleep this is it. The performer may have a lot of character voices up her sleeve but her pronunciation of the T sound can drive a person batty which it did to me. I don’t feel like I wasted a credit because I like mindless books to wind down with and drift off to sleep. It’s my lyrical version of melatonin.

Historia
The Vengeance of Mothers is an audiobook that explores what happens to the bonds between wives and husbands, children and mothers, when society sees them as "unspeakable." What does it mean to be white, to be Cheyenne, and how far will these women go to avenge the ones they love? As he did in One Thousand White Women, Jim Fergus brings to light a time and place in American history, and fills it with unforgettable characters who live and breathe with a passion we can relate to even today.

A nice follow up to the first book but just more of the same. It’s almost identical in story line but the names have been changed. A pleasant listen to pass the time in your car if traveling a distance.

Waste of a credit
Revisado: 08-16-21
Poorly written, mediocre narration, and one of the most immature characters that has ever been created. I tried to push through to the end but finally had to give up at chapter 11. If the female character hadn’t said she was 42 I would have thought she was 12. This book did not have any of the Kristen Ashley nuances. It sounded like it was written by someone else. SAVE YOUR CREDIT OR MONEY and TIME.

Historia
Any couple who spends the night in the Christmas cottage shall have love everlasting.... Lacey Quinn did not believe in happily ever after or the legend of the Christmas cottage. As maid of honor for her best friend, Ava, her duties included decorating the cottage for the newlyweds. It was a simple enough task, but she hadn't counted on sexy Ean Callahan, the bride-to-be's brother, assisting her.

Mindless
Revisado: 11-08-20
This book seems to be geared to the 16 to 20ish year olds. I think they would probably enjoy it. For me it had immature characters, boring story line. I hung in there thinking it would get better, but it didn't.
