Finally! A happy ending!

Of the 3 books, this one has been my favourite because it has a happy ending. The first two books, while essential to this last one were morbid and morose and left me feeling very forlorn.

Exceptional Life

As I listened to this book, I gained a new understanding of what it means to be a black woman in the world.
However, this book speaks to all of humanity about the power of faith and belief in an unseen benevolent presence that is ever present in each of our lives.
A. life well lived does not mean a life without pain or strife. It does mean, however, that we use the lessons learnt to uplift ourselves and others to new heights.
There is no greater testament and shining example to us all than a life that has been lived to its highest potential with grace and love. A love that frees and encourages and truly touches every heart. This is how Cicely Tyson lived her life and I am inspired by her life story . Her life was a lesson of Love, as it is portrayed in her words.
May her Spirit soar to greater heights of Love in whatever adventure she chooses next.

Enchanting and Mesmerising Story

This audio book delivers on all fronts. It is an enchanting, and had me completely mesmerised. Andrea Parsneau brings the characters to life and makes them relatable. I absolutely loved listening to this narrative.

I bought this book on a whim, not really expecting much, given that its written by a politician. In my book, the only good politician is a dead one.
I was surprised at how much this book affected me. It brought me near tears. it is a heartfelt story and rings true to the soul. It is a story of love, loss, courage in the face of adversity and the ideals that bind them all together. It is a story of being human.
