Historia
Agent Isaac Steele has problems. He spends all his splibs on drink and drugs. He has some deep-seated and very much unresolved issues with his parents. And his robotic partner at Greatest Britain’s Department of Clarification, Dr Timothy Stephens, is ruled more by his heart than his hard drive. But all these issues take a back seat when Isaac stumbles upon a case involving the most sensitive information in the cosmos - a Never File, inaccessible to all except those with the highest clearance. He is expressly forbidden to involve himself. So naturally he does.

weird story but it keeps you engaged
Revisado: 01-22-25
at first I thought I didn't like because of strange it was but it doesn't take long to pull you in and keep you wanting to find out more. the humor grows on you quickly and the narrator as always is excellent; what I expect from him. around chapter five it gets it's hooks into you.

it was narrated by a person, I have listed to several hours and have no idea about the storyline. the miss pronunciations of words or spelling out of others that are sounds, he spelled pfft instead of puffing, and the constant beeping in the background has ruined it for me. I know it's cheaper to use a bot to do the narration but it's lacking. the authors books are always good but the bot is ruining something that could be great.

Historia
A 40-year-old skeleton is found encased in a concrete slab at a recently decommissioned nuclear energy site. It becomes a case for the Vermont Bureau of Investigation (VBI) and its leader, Joe Gunther, since they have the resources and the ability to investigate an old, very cold, missing persons case that has now been reclassified as murder. The victim was Hank Mitchell, and Gunther must chase down old rumors and speculations.

Revisado: 01-19-23
Made you think that almost everyone was a murderer by the end. You should never assume anything because the pwrson you kill may not be the guy who murdered your family. Excellent read as usual and great story even with all the whiplash.

Historia
During the height of a particularly brutal Vermont winter, a woman's body is found one morning hanging high above the interstate. The woman, found with the word dyke carved on her chest, is quickly determined to be the victim of a brutal murder. That alone is enough to bring in Joe Gunther and his Vermont Bureau of Investigation team.

Yes the Joe voice is back and I was fully into the story and can remember what its about. The quite ones are the ones you have to watch especially if your the loud mouth bully of the group. Thank you Mr. Taylorson for bringing al the voices back.

Historia
Joe Gunther and his team at the Vermont Bureau of Investigation are alerted to a string of unrelated burglaries across Vermont. Someone, in addition to flatscreens, computers, and stereos, has also been stealing antiques and jewelry. Meanwhile, in Boston, an elderly woman surprises some thieves in her Beacon Hill home and is viciously murdered. The Boston police find that not only is the loot similar to what's being stolen in Vermont, but it may have the same destination.

Revisado: 01-14-23
I was so getting tired of hearing all the yawning and the cast from the Buzz Lightyear cartoon doing the voices. I hang on only till
Taylorson's return. Honestly I was so bored I don't even remember what the story was about.

Historia
An apparent accidental death turns out to be only the first of many murders. Ben Kendall was a troubled man. Coming back from Vietnam with PTSD and scars that no one else could see, he hid away from the world, filling his house with an ever-increasing amount of stuff, until finally the piles collapsed and he was found dead, crushed beneath his own belongings. But what on first glance looks to be the tragic accidental death of a hoarder maybe something much more - and much deadlier

Still great story
Revisado: 01-14-23
The story itself is the only reason I'm still coming back for more because only a few voices are still being used. It just doesn't have the depth and feeling of being there like it did the beginning before we had the hand off to the other "narrators"; they were not good and should never have been used. I'm not going to give a higher rating while the voices are still being butchered. I was so excited for Taylorson to come back but he's been copying the other two that butchered the books to the point I almost stopped listening but hung in there knowing Taylorson was coming back. Now he's butchering Joe/Batman. Go back to the right Joe stop the stupidity.

Historia
Joe Gunther and his team - the Vermont Bureau of Investigation (VBI) - are usually called in on major cases by local Vermont enforcement whenever they need expertise and backup. But after the state is devastated by Hurricane Irene, the police from one end of the state are taxed to their limits, leaving Joe Gunther involved in an odd and seemingly unrelated series of cases. In the wake of the hurricane, a seventeen-year-old gravesite is exposed, revealing a coffin that had been filled with rocks instead of the expected remains.

I've been with this series since the beginning and have been in love with it till the other two horrid narrators took over but I stuck it out knowing that Tom Taylorson was going to take back over only problem is he's trying to copy the other two so now Joe sounds like batman. Great just what i wanted; that is sarcasm. I'm happy that all the other character voices he brought back as we know them but he's using Joes voice for other characters we'll never see again. The stories are great as always I just wish
Taylorson would go back to doing it like he was from the start. I hate that he is now one of the narrators ruining the books. Guess I should be happy Joe sounds like Batman and not a yawing Buzz Lighyear.

Historia
Wayne Castine was found brutally murdered and the murderer remains at large. Castine, a suspected child predator, was killed in Brattleboro where he was involved with a tangled network of an extended family living in a local trailer park. Any member of the clan would have had the opportunity to kill him, and, as he was involved with both the mother and her 12 year old daughter, reason to commit the murder.

and this narrator is better than the last if can get over everyone sounding like buzz lightyear from the cartoon or the buzz voice with yawning. Its all some form of buzz lightyear. Tom Taylorson just sat the bar too high when he voiced the first several and everyone is a pale comparison. I will continue because all the stories are interlaced but will not buy another that isn't Taylorsons narration.

Historia
A deputy sheriff was shot to death during a routine traffic stop on a dark country road. From what can been seen on the cruiser's video recorder of the killers, it is believed that they were a couple of Boston-based drug runners who had been on their way from Canada down to Boston. That's what brings Joe Gunther and his team to the investigation - an attempt to shut down the major drug running operation.
